Building a 5-Foot Rail Fence

The HighPlains ranch rail fence system includes specially designed 'all-in-one' modern extruded aluminum metal fence posts designed to build fences in 4-foot and 5-foot heights. The standard HighPlains rail fence kit includes: universal posts shaped like an 'H', special 90-degree corner posts, end caps and post caps. The suggested spacing for rail fence posts is 8 feet on center.
